Tangy Honey-Glazed Ham Recipe

Ingredients 1 (10 pound) fully-cooked, bone-in ham 1 ¼ cups packed dark brown sugar ⅓ cup pineapple juice ⅓ cup honey, or more to taste

⅓ large orange 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard ¼ teaspoon ground cloves 1 ½ teaspoons lemon juice, or to taste (Optional)

Directions Start with a 325-degree oven. Put ham on a roasting pan rack. Bake uncovered for 2 hours in preheated oven.

While the ham bakes, mix brown sugar, pineapple juice, and 1/3 cup honey in a saucepan. Put orange zest in saucepan and squeeze juice. Whisk in Dijon mustard and ground cloves as it boils over medium-high heat. Lower heat and simmer 5–10 minutes to thicken glaze.

Taste and season glaze. Add lemon juice or honey for tang or sweetness. Set aside.

Remove ham from oven after 2 hours. Apply glaze. Bake ham for 30–45 minutes, glazing every 10 minutes.
