Iowa star Caitlin Clark makes college basketball history

ALBANY:Angel Reese and the No. 3 LSU Tigers square off against Iowa's Caitlin Clark and the No. 1 Hawkeyes in the Elite 8, in what can only be regarded as the most anticipated rematch in college basketball history.

Last season, LSU easily defeated Iowa in the championship game between the two teams; but, this time, Clark and the Hawkeyes are the favorites.

After the break, Iowa fired up the score, with the game tied at 45. Clark leads the way with just over three minutes left in the third quarter and 31 points.

Clark established women's college basketball history en route to establishing what has grown to be a double-digit lead; she currently holds the record for the most career threes in Division One history.

Clark has currently scored 31 points on 11 of his 20 field goals and 7 of his 14 long ball shots.

Earlier in the season, Clark also achieved the distinction of being the all-time NCAA Division I top scorer in both men's and women's basketball.
